Quick start: your first availability check in 5 minutes

Add a few people, create a project, add a role and ask who's free.

The fastest way to see how myproducer works is to run one real (or test) check. Use your own second email address if you want to see what the people you hire receive.

1. Add a few contacts

Go to Contacts → Contact, enter a first name, last name and email, and choose Add contact. Or bring in a list with Import. More about adding contacts

2. Create a project

Go to Projects → Create New Project. Give it a name, dates and (optionally) a location. More about projects

3. Add a role

On the project page choose + New Role and name it, for example Video Editor. More about roles

4. Check availability

In the role, choose Check Availability:

1. Choose + Add next to each person you want to ask.
2. Set the dates.
3. Pick an Auto reminder time (for example 24h) so people who haven't answered get a nudge.
4. Add a short message if you like, then choose Review and send.

Each person gets an email with three buttons: I'm available, Some of these dates and Not available. No account needed. More about checks

5. Watch the answers come in

Answers show on the project page as they arrive, and you get an email and a notification for each one. From there you can request a hold or send an offer.
