Holds and offers: what to do when you get one

How to answer a hold request, and how to review and accept an offer.

A hold request

A hold means "please keep these dates for me." You'll get an email with Yes, hold me and I can't.

  • A hold isn't a booking. You can still take other work until you get an offer.
  • Changed your mind after saying yes? Open the page and choose Decline hold. They'll be told.

An offer

An offer is the actual job: rate, dates, hours and any expenses. Open it with View full offer. No account needed.

An offer on a phone
Your offer: next step, details and messages.
  • Accept offer: you'll see a summary to confirm. Once you accept, you're hired.
  • Decline: you can add a note to say why.
Accepting an offer
Before you accept, you see everything you're agreeing to.

If they change the offer later, you get an email showing what changed, and you'll be asked to accept the new version.

Talking to them

Use the message box at the bottom of the page, or reply to any of their emails. It all goes to the same conversation.
