FAQ
Myproducer.io was originally built by a production company to help professionals in the film and video production industry. Producers and project managers (from independent producers to producers at advertising agencies, production companies, studios, TV stations, and more) are the primary user base. The idea is to make collaboration between a Producer/project manager and her/his contacts more seamless than it ever has been.
Not at first. The beauty of the platform is that we created 3 ways to add contacts that line up seamlessly with how most of us work already.
First, each account comes with a unique application link. You can copy this link to job boards, Facebook groups, your website and more. Anyone that follows your application link can create a myproducer.io account and collaborate with you. Once you’ve reviewed and accepted their application, they will appear in your Contacts dashboard.
Second, you can invite your contacts to join by simply entering an e-mail address. Once they accept your invitation, they’ll be added to your Contacts dashboard.
Lastly, you’ll be able to seamlessly import your contacts from Google straight into your MyProducer Contact page.
Yes. While myproducer.io is not a job board, it does enable producers and project managers to send you an application link to be a part of their contacts. Once you’re one of their contacts, producers can offer you positions in upcoming productions and make specific offers of work.
The Alpha version of myproducer.io was divided into two types of accounts: “Producer” and “Crew & Talent.”
The current version has only one type of account, allowing for more flexibility in your team.
No. We do not currently have plans to create payroll functionality. However, we have had discussions about integrating with other payroll platforms. If this is of interest to you, please reach out to us (info@myproducer.io) and let us know what payroll platform you currently use.
If you would like to downgrade your account, you will need to email info@myproducer.io and request a downgrade.
If the request is received after your renewal date, your subscription will not be prorated.
